Coming Home (to Christ)
Here, the warmth of Christian fellowship and the spirit of welcome create a place of refuge, belonging, and familial embrace. Guided by the principles of hospitality found in scripture, this section is dedicated to how we cultivate a sense of home within our church community.
"12 Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. 13 Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. 14 And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity."
Colossians 3:12-14(NIV)
At St. Timothy Lutheran Church, we see our congregation as a diverse and loving family. In Ephesians 2:19, we are reminded that "you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God." As members of God's household, we extend the hand of fellowship to all, creating a welcoming home where every individual is valued, celebrated, and embraced. We are more than a congregation; we are a welcoming home where Christ's love is the foundation, and every person is a cherished member of our extended family. Welcome home!

Engaging with the living word of God, participants gain insights that resonate with their lives, guided by passages like Hebrews 4:12, which speaks to the transformative power of scripture. Proverbs 27:17 underscores the importance of community in this endeavor, as believers sharpen and encourage one another in their faith journey.
